PHYLLIS
I have recently moved to Sundre and started working at Greenwood Family Physicians in June 2021. I have a background in administration, crisis management, directorship of women's shelters, sexual assault centres, crisis lines, RCMP Victim Services, Teacher Aide, Special Needs Children, Caregiver Special Needs Adult, Oil & Gas Document Controller. I have 2 children & 2 grandchildren. I love silk flower crafting, upcycling, re-using, diamond art, reading, gardening, & working outside.
RUTH
Ruth hails from New Brunswick where she worked at the Moncton City Hospital for 15 years before moving to Cochrane Alberta 1999. Here she continued working in the medical field for another 10 years at the Cochrane Medical Clinic. Ruth is new to Sundre having only moved here in March 2022 and she joined the Greenwood Family Physician team in May. When not at the clinic you'll find her hanging out with her 2 Irish Wolfhounds or camping and riding her horses in the west country.
LAURETTA
Originally from the Gitxsan Nation located in Hazelton, BC. Lauretta moved to Sundre in August 2011 with her Spouse and Daughter. She completed and obtained her MOA Diploma in 2021 through CDI College, Calgary North Campus. She loves to cook, bake, crochet and spending a lot of time with her beautiful grandchildren.
DALLAS
My name is Dallas Groom. I was born and raised in the Sundre area. I met my husband Dan Groom in high school in Sundre and we married in 1999. That is when we moved to Calgary for more work opportunities. During our 22 years in Calgary, we raised 2 amazing boys. They are now both graduated, and living their lives in Calgary. Dan and I decided that it was time to move back home to Sundre, to be closer to both our friends and families.
That was a year ago this March 2023, and we are both very happy to be welcomed back to Sundre. In my spare time, I like to read, and explore the outdoors with Dan and our dog Grendal.
Rhonda
Rhonda has lived in Sundre since 2016. Before joining the team at Greenwood Family Physicians, she was a Healthcare Aid for eight years at Didsbury Hospital, in their long term care unit! She's married and has 3 amazing children! When not in office, you can find Rhonda out and about with friends, or at home with her loving family and pets!
